THE OFFENCE OF ADVANCED FEE FRAUD UNDER THE NIGERIAN CRIMINAL LAWS: CONCEPTUAL CLARIFICATIONS

Abstract

Advanced fee fraud is a form of scam where individuals are lured into paying a fee or providing financial information in exchange for a promised benefit, reward, or service that never materializes. The aim of this paper is to examine the concepts bothering on the offence of advanced fee fraud. The objective is to deepen understanding of the concepts of the offence with a view to providing more information. The methodology for this research is doctrinal.
