Abstract

When a scholarly journal transcends its disciplinary borders, it ceases to be a mere repository of specialized knowledge and becomes instead a public intellectual good. This thirteenth volume of the Wonder Hands Journal of the School of Secondary Education (Vocational and Technical) represents precisely such a departure. Inside this first online issue of Volume 13, the reader will encounter manuscripts that deliberately defy narrow categorization. While our School bears the name Vocational and Technical, the contributions gathered here originate from fields as varied as educational psychology, curriculum theory, economics of education and sociology of development. We have included systematic reviews that synthesise decades of fragmented evidence, scoping reviews that map emerging terrains, critical reviews that challenge orthodoxies, and original research articles that report empirical findings from field surveys, classrooms, workshops, and policy offices. There are also practice-oriented reports written for industry practitioners seeking actionable solutions to complex challenges facing the education sector and society at large.
